All tube bass head amplifier.

Power 300W RMS at 2 and 4 Ohms.

Preamp using 2x12AX7 tubes.

Poweramp driver using 1x 12AX7 tubes and 1 12AU7 valve.

Poweramp 6x 6550 tubes.

2 channel crossable preamp.

Each chanel provided with normal and Bright inputs.

Bass/Treble EQ + Ultra Hi and Ultra Lo filters on each channel

1st channel Mid control along with 3 way 220/600/3000Hz selector switch.

Effects Loop.

4/2 Ohm impedance selector.

2x Jack speaker outputs.

Weight: ca 35 [kg].

Amplifier is in good working order.

Tubes are used but are in good order and do not require replacement.

Visual condition is good, as shown in the pictures. Some marks of typical usage as scratches etc.

Amplifiers operates on 230V European voltage.

Manufactured in early 1980s in Japan under possesion of MApeg by MTI.

In the early 1980s, Ampeg was bought by MTI in Japan, and the SVT was produced there. Functionally identical, its primary cosmetic differences consisting of: white lettering on a black faceplate, black grill cloth, "elephant hide" or rougher textured tolex, and rack case-style spring-loaded handles, updated from the previous (and painful) rubber covered metal strap handles. Other notable differences of this era of SVT are found on the back panel, including a toggle switch for 2 or 4 ohm speaker impedance loads and a longer and thicker gauge 3-prong power cable. Apparently the transformers used are also of Japanese origin as opposed to the previous manufacturer in Chicago. Original SVT Transformers were made by ETC...
